Your kitchen countertop surfaces are the first ones to show the effects of your culinary prowess! Even the toughest granite can get scratches if not sealed properly while tiled kitchen countertops too have their own marks to show. A brand new kitchen countertop will be the finishing touch to your dream kitchen. Colors can be co coordinated to complement the look of your cabinets and the paint on your walls. As a long term investment that will last for much longer than the paints or the wood cabinets, we recommend a sturdy reliable and hard to wear out material that can give your Miami, FL area kitchen a brand new look.
Granite is still the number one material that home owners prefer. Its rich and glossy surface adds sheen and a touch of class to your kitchen, and its strength and durability are renowned. This is the countertop material of choice if you're looking for affordable kitchen countertops that are also stylish and can take wear and tear quite well. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary and your budget allows for it, consider quartz for a breath taking range of colors in kitchen countertops. Wood is also extremely elegant on kitchen countertops although its harder to maintain. For a good looking kitchen countertop that's also sturdy and resistant to abuse, consider marble. It's much more expensive but has a look of luxury and refinement that few countertop materials can match. Ceramic tiles are affordable kitchen countertops but they aren't resistant to chips and nicks. Cleaning grout is another issue you'll have to consider.
No matter what the size of your budget, there' enough variety in countertop material for you to find a custom kitchen countertop that's good looking and suits your lifestyle. Take your use frequency into consideration before you decide on the kitchen countertop of your choice. High maintenance material is perfect only if you can afford to invest the time and money that's required for their upkeep.
We want to remodel our kitchen! We have an L-shape counter we wish to straighten out and a look through we want to remove, in additon to getting rid of the 80's small over and installing a gasstop range. Would like to use existing cabinets and re-face. Floor is good. Lighting needed badly. As eco friendly as possible. alternatives to granite countertops.

Hi - wondering about a kitchen remodel - very preliminary. House was built in late 70's, about 2500 sq ft - standard kitchen with eating area. would like to have new floor, new cabinets, new counters, new stove. Perhaps minor structural modification - push out one interior wall. Could you give me some idea of a ballpark cost - none of this would be high-end style/materials, but decent quality. thank you
